Because the crema and the taste are so good, I give this a four star instead of a three star. The milk froth wand is too short, and it's a pain to take apart and clean every time, as instructed. The 20-bar pump seems fine, but the temperature of the espresso is not hot enough. Perhaps this explains why the instructions and video repeatedly tell the customer to preheat the milk, preheat the cup, et cetera. The machine lacks a stainless-steel cup warmer; the top is plastic. On the plus side, I like being able to program the volume for 1 and 2 cup presets. I wish I could adjust the water temperature too.I waited a few weeks to write my review. This is my first espresso maker and I purchased it based on my sister owning a Gevi for several years. After taking my time, following directions, watching Gevi youtube videos and 2 unsuccessful attempts (my error) I made my first successful cup! The espresso is absolutely FIRST CLASS. Smoothness, body, aroma, crema, everything. Can't say enough good things about the drink, and that's the only reason to buy it, after all.All my complaints about the machine are minor, and ultimately irrelevant. Considering my last Italian machine was a Fiat, this one is awesome.After much review of a dozen espresso machines under $200, I chose the Gevi. I just received it today and it was so easy to set up! I was skeptical about the quality of the espresso it would produce bc the machine itself doesn’t feel extremely sturdy. I was so pleasantly surprised after brewing my first double shot that it was full of crema! The brew process was quick (including machine heat up time) and I was drinking a latte in under a minute! I didn’t try the built in frothing wand bc I have a little frother I love so I can’t review that part but my little Gevi has a heated top surface where you can heat your mugs/cups! I love it’s small footprint as shown in my pic ! I highly recommend this Gevi espresso machine and hope it lasts more than a month (like stated in a few reviews of other machines including this one)! Don’t overspend on another over-priced machine — this one is great!Muy buen productoWhile this is a great concept for a travel coffee maker, the pump broke after 4 days use. Too bad because it is easy to use, cleans up effortlessly and makes a great cup of coffee using a K cup. The quality of the product is obviously poor so I would not recommend.
